Wakes Up In Brandon, MS

April 22, 2025.  My first complete dance to call in 36 years. 

The Yellow Rockers of Brandon, MS were responsible for my return to Square Dancing.  This night was a special throw back theme night.  This club was originally called the Dancing Pirates and I was their original caller.  The members who were around when they were the Dancing Pirates wore their old Dancing Pirates badges.  They had a special painting of a pirate ship for decoration along with pirate hats for all to wear and a table full of Pirates booty.   I thank these people for bringing me back into Square Dancing. 

Crystal Springs, MS Beginner Night

June 30, 2025.  Beginner night marked the first time Square Dancing had taken place in Crystal Springs in 45 years.  Once there was a successful Square Dance Club in town, but the city passed an ordinance banning all dancing in the city limits.  We are all glad that ordinance was rescinded!

Laurelaires, Laurel, MS

August 12, 2025.  First time for me to call for the Laurelaires in about 45 years.  This is a great club with a great history!

Yellow Rockers Graduation Dance 

August 19, 2025.  Harry Case taught the lessons my son took at the Yellow Rockers Square Dance Club.   He did a great job teaching.  Also pictured is my son, Patrick, with one of his "partners" at his graduation dance.

The Dance That Took 45 Years

September 20, 2025.  In my first life as a caller, 45 years ago, the Belles And Buoys tried to book me to call a dance for them.  At that time I was fully booked for over a year in advance and we could not arrive at an agreeable date.  I am grateful this time we were able to complete the arrangements.  This is a great club with a rich history.
